Wi-Fi connection and Possibly data problems?

I'm not sure if this is related to my phone performance or my wifi itself. Still, my phone keeps rejecting my wifi, I tried resetting my phone connections and the phone in general at least three times but it still connects to the wifi for maybe 2 minutes and then disconnects itself. ASWELL, after resetting my phone it's somehow already using data? I didn't have it on when I reset my phone because it's nearing the limit but when I turn my phone back on the data is in usage.


I don't know what to do... everyone else in my family, as well as my computer, is working perfectly fine with the wifi, it's just my phone that is not working.

Troubleshooting iPhone Wi-Fi Connections:


Terms & Conditions:

Is the a Public LAN you are connecting to? If so, you may need to accept the Terms & Conditions to keep the connection. Contact the Network Administrator for assistance with gaining access to it.


A few thoughts to try:

I. Start Here: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch won't Connect to a Wi-Fi Network - Apple Support


II. Clear the Temporary Internet Files:


III. Restart your Router:

  1. Power: off the router
  2. Wait: 30 seconds
  3. Power: It back on


IV. Reconnect to your Network:

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: Wi-Fi
  3. Disable: Wi-Fi
  4. Wait: 30 seconds
  5. Enable: Wi-Fi


V. Add Back the Network:

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: Wi-Fi
  3. Remove: the network
  4. Wait: 30 seconds
  5. Add: the network back


VI. Reset All Network Settings to Default:

Example of items that will be reset: (Wi-Fi Passwords, VPN Connections, etc):

  1. Go To: Settings
  2. Tap: General
  3. Tap: Reset
  4. Tap: Reset Network Settings.
  5. Enter: [Your Passcode]
