Can’t use headphones Bluetooth when i call

Hi, i have an iPhone 12.

so, i used to do calls with my HUAWEI freebuds headphone, but i don’t understand why now i’m not able to call with them.

i can hear music or see somerhing and they work well, but when i try to call someone the headphone don’t work anymore.

in the call window i can see that the headphone are connected but they don’t work.

i have to say that if i connect the headphone to my iPad i’m able to use them calling. Thanks

Hi, I am experiencing the same issue.

Phone: iphone13

headphones: HUAWEI freebuds i4

I can hear sound from music, video, online research but when I call, the receiver can hear me but I cannot hear the receiver.

My phone is updated. I removed the device. Restart the phone reconnected the headset. Still same issue.

Any tip?

thanks ✨

Hello Maverick996,

Let's use the steps below to make sure that your iPhone 12 is all up to date:

1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do.

You can also find those steps in this resource: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

If your iPhone is all up to date, let's restart using the steps below: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

1. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo.

Updating and restarting can help to further isolate a potential software conflict.

Should that behavior still persist, do you experience the same behavior with using another pair of headphones with your iPhone?
