Phantom subscription charge

My credit card I have in my wallet was hacked. I’ve cancelled and renewed it twice. Every time I re add my card, I get a charge for something I never signed up for. The same subscription to Betpl shows up as a charge. I’ve looked through all my subsections. I can’t find it. I contacted Betpl , but I have no account. So they were not helpful. I have my credit card company working on it. The fraud department. How did this happen?

I strongly suspect that you are right about Apple wallet hack. Have you tried to remove the card - even not putting the new card into the wallet ?

My bank is stuffing around, insisting that I temporarily lock the card before they'll investigate the recurrent transactions. I share the card with my partner and we can't afford to have it locked for some random unknown time.

I checked it on our Australian government scamwatch - but nothing is coming up - and the debits have gone on monthly for many months - Small ones - US$10.74
