How do I add my Apple Cash to my new Apple Savings account?

Deposit money into Savings

When you open Savings you agree to automatically deposit Daily Cash that you earn into your Savings account. You can also add money to Savings from a linked external bank account or from Apple Cash. 

1. On your iPhone, open the Wallet app and tap Apple Card.
2. Tap Savings account, then tap Add Money.
3. Enter the amount that you want to add, then tap Add.
4. Select or add the payment source that you want to add money from.
5. Double-click the side button to confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.

Money that you deposit into Savings starts earning interest on the day that the transfer is initiated from the Wallet app.

If you transfer money from Apple Cash, the funds are typically available instantly. If you transfer money from a linked external bank account, it will generally take a few days for funds to be available for withdrawal.

I want to add money from Apple Cash to Apple Savings. It only shows my external bank, but not Apple Savings. If I try to add an account, it wants a regular bank routing number and account number. How do I add Apple Cash to the list?

I have the same issue, and have verified my identity. I want to move money from Apple Cash card to Apple Savings, but don't see an option to do that. It is auto transferring daily cash, but I have other money I want to move.

iPhone > Wallet app > Apple Card > Savings Account > Add Money > use keypad and enter transfer amount > Next button (upper right) > tap default payment source > choose new payment source, Apple Cash is at top of screen — tap > double click power button to confirm payment.

I don’t make the rules or the Apple User Interface. Once you become familiar with the using your Apple Savings account transfers, it only several clicks. I find it easier than several of my other accounts.

Then Apple Cash should be at the top of the screen on the next page. If you don’t have funds in Apple Cash account, it will not appear at top of screen.

This fails for me - no option to choose a new payment source.

Actually the problem was on my end. I did not properly understand that your Apple Cash must be separately verified from your Apple Card. Once I did that it worked.
