Why does my find my location sometimes say “now” and sometimes say “live”

When I use the location feature in messages or the Find my app, sometimes a person or even myself is listed as “now” but sometimes it is “live”. How do you make it so it can always be “live”?

Hello Livelove789!

In my experience, the status will switch between Now and Live depending on how much service you have. (I’m unsure of if how much service the other person has that you’re viewing on Find My affects this or not.)
