Apple Watch Ultra vibrate and haptics not working

My Apple Watch Ultra is on watchOS 9.4. I have restarted and reset my Apple Watch and it still does not vibrate for notifications or have haptics when moving the crown.

This problem started with watchOS 9.4. Does anyone have the same problem or a solution?

Thank you!

The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This should result in no loss of data. It deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.

I think I found a workaround for this. On the iphone go to the Watch app and My Watch. Go to messages. Instead of “mirror my iPhone,” tap “custom.” And then toggle the button to green on “haptic.” Then I turned off my phone, turned off my watch. Then turned the phone and watch back on. For the first time in weeks, I’m getting the haptic tap for message notifications. Yay.
