How can I lower my interest rate?

I called Support and they said the only way they can lower my interest rate from 27% was if I knew someone in the military. My credit score is in the lower 800s and I have been using the Apple card for over a year.

Credit score has very little to do with lowering an APR. Credit score is a partial reflection on your credit worthiness when applying for a loan, lease, mortgage or credit card. Many other factors come into play/factor when wanting a lower APR.

Currently the process with Goldman Sachs is to close your current account, pay the account in full and then apply for a new Apple Card account. There is no reconsideration department.
