Alarm on both my Watch and Iphone

Hello!

For quite a while now I am using a sleeping schedule for my alarms in the morning on my Iphone. The alarm goes off with a noise that wakes me up. Now recently I bought an Apple Watch SE.

I would like to wear my Watch at night as well but when I do this, my alarm only goes of on my Watch. It vibrates.

This isn't always enough to wake me up, or i snooze to easy.

Is there a way the alarm goes off both on my watch and phone? Or only on my phone while wearing the Watch will be fine as well.

Apple Watch SE, watchOS 9

It’s a weird thing but to make it work the watch has to be locked.

I am facing the same issue, I have the sleep mode alarm on the phone because I want to take advantage of the fading in sound so I have time to stand up and not wake up my toddler.

if the watch is unlocked, the alarm will go off only on the watch, if the watch is locked, the alarm goes off on both watch and phone.

Ideally, I would like the alarm to go off only on my phone but I understand this would work only if I disable the sleep tracking mode on the watch which I don’t want to do.

It’s sad that the alarm app is lacking basic features.

OK, Set up sleep tracking schedule without an alarm. (I do this)

Set the alarm separately on the iphone if that is really what you want.

Turn off Push Alerts from phone in iPhone, Watch app, My Watch tab, Clock to prevent the watch alarm sounding.

I found another potential solution. I made a customized ringtone with GarageBand where I picked my most suited song to wake me up, I added a fade in and once it was created I added to my library and I chose it as alarm song from the iPhone regular alarm clock (not the alarm from Sleep Schedule). I finally have my alarm going off with fade in only on the phone.

Sorry, I didn't specify. I already had that config for years. But since we had a baby, I would like to have an alarm that fades in, starts quietly and slowly slowly gets louder. After may years Apple integrated this wonderful feature in the Sleep Schedule. Downside: you cannot use it exclusively on the phone if you wear an Apple Watch unless you disable the sleep tracker on the Watch (not good) or you keep the watch locked during the night (so far it is the best compromise, keeps tracking my sleep and goes off also on the phone. Ideally, I would like that it goes off only on the phone but I guess I will have to live with that or find a third party app).
