I found that also. If you are using Safari use the Menu Bar drop down option File > Export as PDF.

Then you can print from the pdf.

As this is not related to the OPs discussion, if you have any further queries about it might be best if you start another question.

Your MS Word license is tied to the Mac hardware UUID address where it was originally installed. I always recommend that one does not transfer applications via Migration Assistant from an older Mac to the new Mac as a lot of all/partial crud comes over that is useless and difficult in some cases to remove.

Microsoft has retired Office 2008/2011/2016 for Mac. On macOS Big Sur, and later, they only support new installations of the currently licensed Microsoft 365 or Office 2019/2021 for Mac.

You will need updated printer and scanner device drivers from their respective vendor/s and specifically for macOS Ventura. Or, your printer/multifunction device is suppported via a network connection with Apple's built-in AirPrint.

That would either be a bug in your printing software, or maybe there’s a bug in the forum software.

If you’re concerned about the costs of buying the current Microsoft Office version (whether that perpetual or a subscription license) you can install LibreOffice (free) or similar app, and you can use that to access and read and write local Office documents. The Apple iWork (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote) apps are also free, can also read and write most Office documents.

It depends.

If you opt to transfer the applications (which is usually not a great idea (*)), AND the version of Word that you have is compatible with the OS in the new mac, then yes.

So: which version of Word is this, and what OS does your new mac run? Ventura? You can't run an old version from Office 2011, no matter what you try. You need a fairly recent version of Office.

(*) When migrating to a new mac, it is usually recommended that you migrate just the user accounts; this will make it so old applications and especially old system extensions and daemons, which could fail to work properly in a new OS, are not transferred. This is especially the case when migrating from a mac with a different architecture, like the Apple Silicon macs, from a mac that was upgraded several times... say, stuff from El Capitan is unlikely to work well in Ventura on an M1 or M2 mac...

Yes, if you have selected to transfer all apps. The information below will be helpful in understanding how to use M.A. It is very easy to use. Be sure to read and follow its instructions. Basically, the process is as follows.

You first begin by starting the process of setting up your new computer. You will be asked if you wish to transfer files. Respond YES and follow the instructions you will be given.

·      You will be told to turn both computers on and activate Migration Assistant in the old computer.

·      The computers should be connected with a cable to facilitate the transfer. Wi-Fi is not suited for a transfer of so much data and corruption often results. If you must use it, make sure the two computers are located close together.

·      You will be given several options of what to transfer. You will likely want to transfer your settings and preferences.

·      You can transfer all or none of your files. You do not have an option to select certain files to transfer. If you wish to do that, then do so manually. You can transfer all or none of your installed apps. Some people elect to download fresh installations to the new computer instead.

·      The old computer's operating system will not be transferred. No data from the old computer is erased.

·      Allow for up to an hour for the transfer process to complete once you start it.

·      It should set up the new computer the same as the old one.

·      When that is successful, you can log into the new Mac with the old User Account name and password and delete the brand-new user or leave it in place as a second admin account.

Enjoy your new Mac.

I hope this is helpful. Good luck.

As others have said, it's a bug in Apple's forum software. In Safari, you can use Export as PDF. This will create a PDF with all of the content, but it will be an odd size.

Apple's isn't the only site that screws up printing. It is quite common for "modern" websites to completely break printing.
