Family Sharing/Photos
Hey. I am wondering if there is a simple way for me to stop my iPhone photos from showing up on my daughters devices. We all have separate Apple IDs, are in an Apple Family (myself, husband, 3 kids) and have separate devices. It is only one of my children’s iCloud (?) that they are showing up on. I don’t want to disable anything Family Sharing related other than my personal photos and am nervous that turning off certain settings will delete my photos from all of the Google searching and Apple forum articles I’ve read. If anyone can very simply walk me through this, I would be forever grateful. Or should I just set up an appointment with an Apple “genius” at a store? I’ve wasted too much time trying to figure this out. Thank you in advance with any help you can send my way.
Apple made me select a device that I’m having this trouble with. Don’t think that matters but it’s on all of her devices- phone and iPad. It’s her Apple ID that I would assume needs settings changed but IDK.
PS- I think there is a business opportunity in helping parents navigate all of the settings, restrictions, Family sharing, tech stuff that comes along with parenting this tech world. I would pay someone to take care of it for me anyway. I can’t be the only mom with tweens out there spending hours trying to navigate it all. 😵💫
