I recently bought two apple watches one for me and one for my wife. Ever since my texts going through to her are in a green bubble and used to be blue we also cannot FaceTime each other.

FaceTime audio calls not routed to Watch, but iMessage works Hello, A child Apple ID is in to an iPad and to an Apple Watch. When I call the Apple ID on facetime audio, the iPad rings, but the Apple Watch does not. The Apple Watch is on the cellular network (not wifi). The iMessages to that same Apple ID do get routed to the Watch. I use the Apple ID (not phone number) to send the iMessage, so I know for sure that it is not an SMS but an iMessage. The Apple Watch is set up in family setting (has its own phone number). Please let me know how this issue can be resolved.

Apple watch My watch is trying to send a blue message to some one who doesn’t have iPhone but my phone will send them a normal green message and if they message me and I answer then right away on my watch then it will send green on my watch to but if I start a conversation it sends blue how do I fix it?

Firstly you each need your own Apple ID

Secondly both of you do this on your own iPhones...

Settings, Messages, Turn off iMessage

Settings, Face Time, Turn off Face Time

Restart the phone.

Settings, Messages, Turn on iMessage, SMS, MMS

Settings, Messages, send & Receive, Start new conversations from, select your Apple ID which should now be there.

Settings, Face Time, Turn on Face Time
