Accidentally deleted messages

If they were deleted while using iOS 16 or later, see this support article:--> Recover deleted text messages on your iPhone or iPad

On the contrary, if they were deleted while running iOS earlier than iOS 16, they can't be recovered.

Settings > Messages

Tap on the Edit button at the upper left of the window

Tap on Show Recently Deleted

If the messages were deleted within the last 30 days or so, they will be listed

Tap to select the message(s) that want to Recover and then tap Recover at the lower right of the window

If the messages do not appear in Recently Deleted, they were deleted more than 30 days ago, and are gone.

If you didn’t delete them from recently deleted you should be able to recover it from there.
