I have the iPad mini (6th generation) and when I updated to iOS 16.4.1., my emoji keyboard disappeared. I tried deleting emoji and adding it again to my keyboard but it is not functioning at all. How can I get my emojis back? The emoji keyboard on my iPhone still works).

First, lets confirm the steps taken to add the emoji keyboard:
"Don't see the emoji keyboard?
If you don't see the emoji keyboard, make sure that it's added.

Next, restart your iPad and see if that helps.
If the issue persists, Get Support

Thank you so much for responding. Unfortunately, I had already tried the method that you suggested. It did add the emoji keyboard, but it doesn't work at all. I will contact support as you suggested. I am a technically-challenged 74 yr. old so I am trying my best to follow instructions when I search for advice to the n°.

Just contacted Apple Support and they resolved the issue. I now have my emojis back.
