Request a new virtual card number

  1. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone and tap Apple Card.
  2. Tap the card number icon , then authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.
  3. Tap Request New Card Number.

If your magnetic strip number was compromised, you need to request a new card.

Thanks for the info Jeff, unfortunately I changed my virtual number many times since the problem started. I never ordered a physical card. I think the number was compromised when I ordered via instagram a pet treat/toy subscription back in Nov 2022. Prior to that I never had a problem. I closed my account but would like to find out how the jerks kept getting my new card numbers.

I learned a lesson never order anything via a social media platform.

My Apple Card was hacked over the week of Christmas 2023 and used over 30x at Evgo charging stations! Sometimes there were charges simultaneously as I was charging! I would click on a charge in my wallet and it would open up to 5 more charges! I spoke to Apple Card services and am in the process of disputing all the charges and they are sending me a new card but I’m afraid to use it! And I didn’t use it it was taken from wallet on my phone so just having it on my phone worries me that it may be the gateway to rest of my stuff because I also had my NFL tickets manipulated, meaning the hackers changed my seat numbers on StubHub but on my tickets in my account, and I had a call from a contact on fb messenger and when I answered I could hardly hear them and it was all static so I hung up and called them back and they said they didn’t call me they were in a car wash and they said they didn’t video call me either a couple weeks prior when I had missed the call, and I had documents I did not create put in my Notes app with had all been re-written from the original documents. How does all this happen just in the last week and who do I even report it to?
