No. I have not encountered this.

Recommend this to Apple:

Do your Part: Let Apple know what has occurred. Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what bugs exist, and what fixes to include in firmware versions to come.

1. Go Here: Feedback - AirPods - Apple
2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL to this thread.
4. Proceed from there as necessary

This started for me with 16.4 on my iPhone 13 Pro. But I am in my car. Music is playing on my car stereo but I have one AirPod in my ear for calls. Randomly it will switch the music to my AirPods. I have never had an issue with this before.

Additionally this was before the latest firmware update.

Reset, re-pairing both AirPods and my car didn’t change the behavior.

This is also happening to me

started about a week ago

i have iphone 14 pro max, airpods 3, and it is updated to the latest update 16.4.1

this never happened before, just about a week or two before

it happens to both aux and usb connection where it automatically switches sound to airpods

at first i thought it was a cable issue, but i changed the cables, restarted my phone, re-paired my airpods

nothing works

it's really annoying, please help
