Most of the tracks on Apple Music sounds unbalanced. Most frequently the left Homepod sounds higher in volume. When I switch to Spotify the sounds is correct. Dolby Atmos is off on the Music app. This is VERY annoying. I tried everything but still the sounds from Apple Music is always uneven. Any suggestions?
Ok I tested from the music app on iPad to my Gen 2 HomePods. It’s a very bad old recording. Did you try other versions? It was equally balanced but it just sounds really bad. I restarted my Homepods and closed the music app to try it again but it just sounds so awful! It’s not a song I ever owned on a cd and I only ever listened to it from the radio on Bose speakers which were a lot better than this, so I can feel your disappointment in the track. Except these are not Bose! The fact is some older songs don’t sound as good. Some sound great, this just isn’t one of them. R&B sounds good.
Ive not tried through Apple tv. Which way were you playing it?
I would suggest some restarts on the device you’re using, HomePods and try other versions of this song and other songs. Try other surfaces to recalibrate- choose a solid surface like wood.

Installed the update both HomePods and Apple TV but some tracks still sounds literally almost only to the left like Timbaland’s SexyBack on Apple Music. This is quite unbelievable, really. Don’t know what to do. I’m talking as a owner of many Apple products but this one, is a joke.
No it doesn’t sound bad just very unbalanced to the left. Using Spotify sounds correct, it’s just Apple Music. Moreover I updated HomeKit and the HomePods and now HomeKit doesn’t recognize the left one. I tried everything. Very very disappointed. 700 bucks for this chunky piece of hardware and software and time wasted for trying to configure them.
