System not recognising internet connection

After recently updating my OS to Ventura 13.3.1, I restarted my computer. While initially starting up fine, after a couple of minutes my Safari, Mail and System Settings have all said that I am not connected to the internet. If I use Chrome however I have perfect internet usage capabilities. I have tried to look at how to reinstall the operating system, but given the issue the computer says I am not connected to the interet and am unable to access any such operations. Has anyone else had this issue before, or deos anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

One thing to look at is in System Settings, Network, Filters. Check to see if there are entries in there and if you don't recognize them, remove them. Or just disable them as a test then re-enable one by one to see if one or more are responsible for blocking your Internet traffic.
