iPhone 14 Pro Max terrible out of the box

Hi everyone,

Not quite sure if I made a poor purchase here but this iPhone 14 pro max is giving me the following issues:

-Lag on app switch

-Processor/RAM overload (spinning wheel thing)

-Intensive stutters with just about every native app activity

-Camera lag

-Camera processing issues (the images quite literally do not load at points)

additional info:

iOS 16.3

Verizon distribution

Purchased 1/15/2023

I’m sure I’m missing a few but overall this has been the worst experience to date with a new iPhone. My 4s performed better lmao. The point of this post is to figure out if I’m alone in my experience or I’m missing a quick fix? Thank you!

Hello,

Hmm, you shouldn't be having those issues. Try these steps until it is better:

1) Restart the phone

2) Update to iOS 16.4.1

3) Check your local storage space: How to check the storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

4) Factory reset: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings

5) Have the phone checked: Find Locations

Tried - doesn’t seem to effect overall performance
Tried - still maintaining initial issues
Storage - 64/128g
Tried - still maintaining initial issues
This is my last option.

Any suggestions if they tell me to take a hike?
