How to set up my tv with Apple TV remote
I used to be able to turn on off and control volume of my tv with Apple TV remote, now it doesn’t work anymore.
I tried the setting but I couldn’t make it work.
how can I pair the two?

Restarting just the remote often solves this.
Typically, on|standby of connected devices is doen through HDMI-CEC. Then when you set Apple TV to sleep, any connected HDMI devices would follow that. Likewise, waking Apple TV would also wake other connected HDMI devices. Activate CEC on all HDMI devices in the setup.
