Optimized battery charging

What does it mean when my phone gives the message "optimized battery charging".

In short, this means that your iPhone charges to 80% and waits to charge the last part to 100% until you need to use your iPhone. In this way, it protects your battery. Your iPhone learns your charging pattern over time, and after some time Optimized Battery Charging is activated.


The function is enabled by default. If you want, you can disable the feature here:

Settings Battery Battery Health & Charging → disable Optimized Battery Charging.


However, I would recommend that you keep the function active.
