Pop-ups still be blocked even though I allowed them

I am having pop-ups blocked on a website where I allowed them. I have tried toggling the allow on and off. I have also restarted my Mac twice. I finally reinstalled the OS. Still getting pop-up blocked. However, on my desktop Mac running the same version of the OS on the same website, the pop-up window opens fine.

Any ideas?

Hi nealdf,

Open Safari and go to the website where you'd like pop-ups available. Click Safari in the menu bar and select Settings for [website name]. Look at the settings there and make sure pop-ups are enabled there.

Take care.

Hey nealdf,

Since you’re still not getting the pop-ups you expect, let’s make sure your Mac is fully up to date. The latest macOS version is 13.3.1. You can see which version your Mac is on by going to Apple Menu () > About This Mac. Update macOS on Mac - Apple Support

See if you’re getting the pop-ups now.

If you aren’t, you’ll need to contact Apple Support to look into this issue further with you: Get Support

All the best.
