Family Downtime / Screen time is buggy and not working properly
Like many others, my family is having the problem with Downtime settings. Almost daily I am having to go in and adjust the downtime settings for my two children's iPhones. I have a new iPhone 13pro, my son has an iPhone 12pro and daughter has an iPhone 12, all phones are running the latest iOS.
I manage the settings. The problem is mostly around Downtime scheduling. I turn "Scheduled" on and then manually enter in the schedule for both children (what time Downtime should start per day). Almost daily this setting is forgotten, or changed, or completely turned off, and I have to go in and manually set the Downtime settings again. Often I have to restart my phone to get the Family Downtime settings to even work (consistently the toggles will reset themselves after I turn them on and restarting my phone is the only way to get them to actually work properly).
Again, I am not alone with this issue. Reading through the support posts on this topic is frustrating because many of us are suffering through the same problems. Apple, please fix this important issue and advise on when and how we can expect this service to work properly.
