Apple Music Device Limit

Hi, I have just signed into my work phone with my Apple ID and when I try to download my playlist to my work phone it says that I have reached my device limit and need to remove unused devices. I only have the two iPhones and have a family package for Apple Music. I have been able to download music to additional phones in the past, have Apple reduced or limited number of devices that can be logged into the music app.

Thank you in advance if you can provide me some information.

iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 16

You may want to double-check to see whether any older devices can be removed:

Am no expert, this is the way I understand it:

Seems that if you have Apple Family Music subscription), then family sharing allows for up to six family members:

else

For an individual Music subscription, if purchase sharing is turned on, the family members can still download iTunes purchases.

You may be able to:

Use Sync Library to access your music library across your devices ...

All the best :-)
