Does removing a keycap void warranty?

Hi,

one of the keys on my M1 MacBook Air is likely jammed; it feels not as responsive and is slightly harder to press down. Would removing it, cleaning off any dust, and putting it back void my warranty?

Thanks

I advise against it, not due to any warranty concerns, but for the fact it probably won't help. The key caps themselves are little more than covers for the mechanism beneath.

To clean your Mac's keyboard it's ok to follow these instructions: How to clean the keyboard of your MacBook or MacBook Pro - Apple Support. There is no need to remove anything.
