I cannot wake up my Mac with Touch Id. When the option "require password after screen saver begins" is set, I assumed that touch id would work. But in fact it always says "password is required". (Not only the firs time, not every 48 hours, but *always*). So in fact touch id is useless for me.
Is there some setting that I miss? What is the correct way to unlock the Mac with touch id?

If you have problems with Touch ID
Note: For added security, only logged-in users can access their own Touch ID information; an administrator cannot change another user’s Touch ID settings or fingerprints.
A couple ideas for you. Compare your settings with this image so that TouchID will work when expected.
Secondly, try removing the existing fingerprint(s) and then re-adding again.
