Did you buy your computer from Apple or an Authorized Apple Reseller? If so, you should be able to resolve this by providing proof of purchase to Apple Support. See the link at the bottom left of every page of these forums.


If you bought it from somewhere else, you may technically not be the first owner. If that is the case, the warranty would have started on the original sale date, not the date you bought it.
