iOS stuck at Deleting shared library on my MacBook, iPad and iPhone.

How do I manually reset my photos so they sync between devices? I have deleted all photos, albums, etc. All devices are updated to latest IOS but my photos are "stuck" at deleting shared library. I shared a library with someone who passed away so I deleted it from all my devices but my photos no longer sync. I no longer have access to the persons device I was sharing with. Please help and thanks in advance.

iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 16

I have had this problem for months now. Deleted the shared Library. Now my iCloud Photos have stopped syncing for months and the message "deleting shared library" has been in the photos app the entire time. Although this album is gone from my Mac and my iPhone, this shared library is showing on iCloud.com. But the shared library on iCloud.com is completely empty.... just an empty folder. So...iCloud Photos sync is broken until Apple can fix this deletion issue.... Based on what I read online... this has been an issue for a year (even in beta). I opened a ticket a month ago....still nothing out of Apple. This is ridiculous. I'm paying for iCloud storage and it's broken. My photos and videos are still avail in the cloud...just nothing is working. Why hasn't Apple fixed this issue? Sadly, this affects my daughter's iPhone photos too because she was added to the shared library. Her message is stuck on "removing from shared library" for months now. Come on Apple...do better or refund our monthly charges for this crap.

I'm another user with this huge problem. This is unacceptable.

I've been dealing with a syncing issue in iCloud Photos for over a year now, and honestly, I'm fed up. Despite having enough storage and following every step Apple has thrown at me, my photos and videos just won't sync because of some ridiculous shared library block. I keep getting this absurd message that it's "deleting the library," but nothing ever happens, and my photos and videos remain unsynced.

I've reached out to Apple support countless times, and while they always claim they're "working on it," the reality is I've seen no solution. Every month it's the same story: the engineering department is "reviewing" my case. Seriously? A year to review a syncing issue?

On top of this, I've filed two complaints about the service, and I still haven't received any response from Apple's customer service. It's like they're completely ignoring the issues their paying customers are facing.

iCloud isn't free. I'm paying for a service that's not delivering, and honestly, there's a limit to patience. If Apple can't provide a basic solution for a service I'm paying for, maybe I need to reconsider if it's worth being a customer.

I hope someone from Apple reads this and realizes how frustrating this situation is. And if not, at least other users are aware of what might await them.

I am having this problem at the moment for the past two weeks. My photo is not syncing and stuck with 'Deleting Shared Library' status. Twice a week a senior Apple technical advisor will call me just to update me that the engineering department is still working on this error and they are still investigating the cause. Reading from complaints here it looks like I will not get the solution any sooner.

It just works... They say
