I've applied for my Apple Card to take advantage of the no interest payment. Plan to purchase a new computer. Why do they assume that you have an iPhone or iPad? How do I get a physical card?

There is no option to order a physical card without an iPhone. You can only use your AppleCard account to make purchases directly from Apple. See the following from How to apply for Apple Card - Apple Support
If you apply online, use a supported browser. To access and use all Apple Card features, you need to add Apple Card to an eligible iPhone or iPad that you own with the latest version of iOS or iPadOS. Then, you can manage your Apple Card on your device and make purchases anywhere Mastercard is accepted. If you don't add Apple Card to an iPhone or iPad that you own, you can only use your Apple Line of Credit for eligible purchases online and in-store at Apple.

This is primarily a user-to-user support forum; other Apple users like you. So what you purchase from Apple doesn't matter to us. I just wanted to be sure that it was clear that you can use the Apple Card for interest free Monthly Installment purchases from Apple without having the physical Apple Card.
If you read the original inquiry you will see that it won't let me do anything with that line of credit without first adding it to my "Apple Wallet". I am not using a wallet and don't have an iPhone or iPad. I was going to replace my older Mac Mini but there is no method to use that line of credit on-line to order a new Mac Mini.
They don't make it as clear or easy as they should. The easiest thing to do would be to call (800) MY–APPLE (800–692–7753).
You will need your Apple ID so they can access your account. Make two things clear to them 1) you want to purchase using your Apple Card account and you don't have a card and 2) you want to use the Monthly Installmnets option.
Another option that might work depending on the age of the operating system of your older Mac mini would be to make the purchase from it using the Safari browser. Current Safari browsers bring up the Apple Card account payment option when checking out. Again, be sure Monthly Installments is selected during the purchase process.

I am saving $2k because I am no longer going to purchase an Apple product!
That's your choice -- Just an odd one for not being able to get a physical credit card.
