I recently edited the messages to be deleted after 30days. It deleted all conversations I previously had. How do I restore those?

It might not help, but if the messages are not visible when you open Messages, tap Edit, and then tap Show Recently Deleted, the messages are gone.
Note......Show Recently Deleted will not even appear as an option if there are no current deleted messages in the folder.

Not exactly what I’m looking for I don’t believe this solves my problem.
