My girl sent me an invite so I accepted it to join her family sharing. But it says I have to transfer my step daughter’s account first. Her account is under me as the organizer. How would I do this? Thanks guys

If she is going to join you in the other family group, transfer her first.
The alternative is deleting the child's account altogether which has the consequence that anything purchased with that account will not be available for redownloading or updating in the future. One way to delete the account would be to log into the unwanted "child" account and request deletion.
