certain iCloud email sub folders are not visible on iPhone 13

Most of my iCloud email sub folders do not appear on my iPhone 13 in the Apple email app. I only see these subfolders when I'm logged into my Apple account thru my PC browser. Any help would be appreciated.

Empty "[Gmail]" Folder in Apple Mail App I have been using Apple Mail on my iPhone for several years now and recently got a MacBook. After hooking up two Gmail accounts to the Apple Mail app on the MacBook, I now see a grayed out (and empty) "[Gmail]" folder under both of these accounts on my iPhone. For context, these folders do not show up on my MacBook (only my phone), there are no messages in the folders, and no subfolders beneath them. Additionally, they did not exist on my iPhone prior to me adding the accounts on my MacBook. I am unclear how to get rid of them and would appreciate any insight into the matter. If it helps, my iPhone is running iOS 16.2 and my MacBook is on MacOS Ventura 13.1.

Email subfolders have disappeared on iPad Using an iPad for my email. Created certain subfolders in Mail, and moved emails to them. Now the subfolders are not displayed when I open up email. Help please. How do I get the folders to display so I can read those emails. Thank you.

Thanks for your comments. As it turns out, the email sub folders were indeed on my iPhone. But I was not navigating correctly within the email app. Once I used the > on the far right of the email sub folder I could see the contents of the sub folders.
