Movies missing in Library

I’ve begun to notice that movies I have purchased in my apple account are no longer in my library, and it now is saying I need to purchase it in order to watch it again. No, I hadn’t rented it, and it was definitely a purchase. I watched it I’m sure no more than 3 months ago in my AppleTV as I had many times before. I tried to watch it today only to find it missing from my library and it said I need to purchase it again. Has anyone else been noticing this happening to them?

Hello Taylaray33,

There are a few basic troubleshooting steps we can provide, but ultimately you may have to reach out to Apple Support for more help.

You can try to resolve the issue by restarting and updating your Apple TV. To learn how to restart your Apple TV, check this out: Restart Apple TV - Apple Support. For steps on how to update your Apple TV, look here: Update your Apple TV - Apple Support

You may find these steps helpful:

Update your Apple TV manually
1. Go to Settings > System > Software Updates and select Update Software.
2. If there's an update, select Download and Install.
3. Wait for your Apple TV to download the update. Keep your Apple TV connected and plugged in to power until the update is complete.

If the issue continues after following those steps, contact Official Apple Support.

Thanks.
