Personal Contact Card "home" address keeps changing by itself

My home address on my contact card keeps changing to "address" rather than home. Makes it rather difficult when driving to use Siri to say "Hey Siri, take me home." She always responds saying that I don't have a home address.

I have tried:

  1. Deleting my contact card and recreating it.
  2. Managing my contacts via the contacts APP on any of the Apple devices I have enabled to sync contacts with iCloud.
  3. Trying doing all the same via iCloud.com
  4. Trying turning off contacts sync via icloud, updating contact card, then turning sync back on.
  5. And the always recommended; Everything is updated, everything is signed in, tried restarting, tried signing out and back in.

Any ideas?

Also, my icloud.com contacts show my address as "Home" but my ios devices do not.

Hello jammy_mission,

Since the iCloud.com site shows the correct label, it doesn’t sound like iCloud Contacts have been enabled on your iPhone.

From Set up and use iCloud Contacts - Apple Support:

"On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud.
  2. Turn on Contacts.
  3. When you're asked if you want to Merge or Cancel, tap Merge.

All of the information stored in Contacts uploads to iCloud."

Please let us know the results when you're able.

All the best.
