Apple Watch: Breathing Disturbance Value Can’t find any details on what the exact definition of Breathing Distrubance Value mean in the sleep apnea alert function on Apple Watch. What do the values mean and what are they measuring exactly. Are the a universally recognized measurement that my doctor would understand or just some measurement unique to Apple’s way of measuring for sleep apnea. Is it an estimate of AHI and is the number result similar to what an AHI result would be? (Ie 13, 23, 30) etc. Would be nice to understand if this measurement at 20 vs 50 indicates that you stopped breathing X times vs Y times, etc. I’ve read through all the material I could find authored by Apple and even searched the web for any third party explanation and have found nothing. Anyone that knows the answer please reply. Thank you,

Oxygen level and low heart beat Apple Watch on my Apple Watch 9 I receive an ‘immediate’ notification when my heartbeat is more then 10 min below the range I set. but it won’t wake me up by giving a notification when that occurs. By a sound or small vibration which could wake me up and warn me. Same for the low blood oxygen level; but only shown in the data when I open the health app. So I might as well be dead when the notification will be shown about the low heartbeat. Is there a way to change that? I mean; I get a vibration in certain apps when fi the app notices my drive in the Tag Heuer golf app or when I excersize every 5 minutes. I would appreciate that too to in able to warn me about a health risk? Then I would be able to train myself to wake up and do something to breath deeper or whatever. Now it seems a bit late…my coroner could use it though….LOL, but that’s not why I bought the watch ;-).

Apple Watch Sp02 Oxygen Level - Background Measurements Hi there, I know you can check your on demand, but I’m curious if you can increase the frequency of the automatic background measurements it takes randomly. During sleep when I’m still, it generally takes a reading everything 30 minutes or so. Is there a way to increase the frequency of this? I know you need to be still for it get a reading, but I’d love to have the thing check it more frequently than every 30 minutes while I’m sleeping. I do have known lung issues, which is why I’m curious about this.

I daily do breathing exercise about 10 times. But it always shows only one min.
