Sleep Focus Always On Display

I understand that the Always On Display turns off in Sleep mode. I don't want it to! I want the focus, but I want to use my phone as a night stand clock. Is there an option I'm missing?

sleep focus turns off iphone screen I'm sorry if this one was already posted, but I couldn't find it. In the Apple health app on my iPhone (14 pro) I've setup a sleep schedule at e.g. 22:30 - 06:15. In the options I enabled the sleep focus. This all functions Wonderfull. There is however one thing I can't seem to fix. When the sleep focus enables itself at the given time, the screen is turned off. It is completely black. So when I wake up somewhere in the middle of the night, I can't see what time it is. Is there any way to fix this? So that when I wake up in the middle of the night I can see what time it is. Without touching the iPhone. I'm not sure it's worth mentioning, but my iPhone is charging at night on a magsafe charger. Thanks ahead

sleep focus not turning off Sleep focus on iOS 17.0.2 is not turning off at the end of the app appointed time. I have tried deleting the focus and re-creating it, but it will not turn off by itself

By design your can't enable Always on display and sleep focus

Use Always-On display with your iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 14 Pro Max - Apple Support
