3. Proceed from there as necessary

Surely you don’t expect to reset the password on a note whose password you don’t know. If that were possible, the whole concept of password protecting notes would be non-functional.

Resetting Password of a Locked Note:

1. Go Here: How to Lock or Unlock Notes on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support***
2. Scroll to: Change your notes password
3. Proceed from there as necessary

You certainly can do that … as long as you know the current password, of course.

Notes with forgotten passwords cannot be opened or recovered.
