HomePod’s  Setup Guide - true?

This, from Homepod’s setup guide concerns me - it seems to obviate TV speaker selection in Audio Output.

”This setting routes all sound, including navigation clicks, from Apple TV to your HomePod.”

I believe the answer is "true." Regardless of where you send the audio output of the Apple TV, it would produce all of the sounds from that device as the Apple TV does not have any means to play sound directly. However, with AirPlay, you can send audio to more than one AirPlay "receiver" device simultaneously.

Remember that an Apple TV can be both an AirPlay "sender" & "receiver." The HomePods, on the other hand, can only be the latter.
