Exchange Calendar sync issues on MacOS

I've seen the previous question/thread on this topic as it related to an older version of Monterey over a year ago. I am on 12.6.3 and still see the following issues:

a) Calendar events created on Outlook/Web (I hate using it!!) do not show up on MacOS Calendar although they show up on iOS with no problems

b) More importantly calendar events I create in macOS Calendar do not get sent to invitees AND do not show on Outlook Calendar.

If I kill the Calendar app, it does sync on re-start. But this is obviously not the solution we want. b) is extremely vexing as meetings never get sent out.

Hi shantisk,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

We understand that Outlook and MacOS are not syncing calendar events and invites correctly. Since this is temporarily resolved with restarting the app, try removing the calendar altogether and adding it back to Calendar to re-establish the sync. These steps are from the article titled Add or delete calendars on Mac.

Add a calendar
1. In the Calendar app  on your Mac, choose File > New Calendar.
2. Name the calendar, then press Return.
If you can’t add a calendar for a particular calendar account, try adding a calendar on the account provider’s website. For example, to create a Google calendar, go to google.com.

Delete a calendar
1. In the Calendar app  on your Mac, click the calendar’s name in the calendar list.
2. If you don’t see the calendar list on the left, choose View > Show Calendar List.
3. Choose Edit > Delete.
4. Some calendars can’t be deleted.
* You can’t delete delegated calendars, but you can stop showing them in the main Calendar window. See Share calendar accounts.
* If you can’t delete a calendar for a particular calendar account, try deleting the calendar on the account provider’s website. For example, to delete a Google calendar, go to google.com.
* If a calendar account has only one calendar (not counting other people’s calendars you’re sharing), you can’t delete that last calendar.
