A note was deleted from a shared notebook by a participant and it was removed from my phone. I went to my recently deleted folder the day it was deleted but it is not there. I was only sharing the note with one other person. They won’t admit to deleting it. How were they able to delete the note from my phon e if I was the owner? Also how can I recover the note?

If you authorized a participant to a shared note to make changes, it is possible that they could erase the entire contents of the note. It sounds like this is most likely what occurred. You can read more about iCloud note sharing here:
