My boyfriends grandma got a new iPhone and we can’t erase the guys stuff because we don’t have his password for his Apple ID so the phone is in security lockout

Security lockout help My partner’s phone is currently stuck on security lockout. He is trying to erase the phone but it’s saying his Apple ID password is incorrect, so it won’t let him. As he doesn’t have access to his phone, he has no way of resetting his Apple ID password either… What can we do to get back on his phone?

Then the iPhone grandma got isn't new. Otherwise, no one else's credentials would have already been on it.

You're going to have to get the ID and password from the "guy" this phone used to belong to, or it will be forever useless.
