iTunes crashes when opening iPhone page

I am trying to reinstall iTunes on a new computer running Windows 10 22H2, and sync my iPhone XS with it.

The installation looks fine until I open the iPhone page within iTunes. Then, it either crashes after a few seconds, or if it doesn't, it crashes if I select "backup" on this computer.

I have tried the following:

-Install iTunes from the Microsoft Store

-Install iTunes from the Apple download website

-Uninstall everything between every install: Bonjour, Apple services, iTunes + remaining folders (Music/iTunes, all the Apple-related Program Files, all the Apple-related App Data files)

-Use different USB cables

-Disconnect internet connection during backup

-Updated my iPhone XS to latest iOS version 16.3.1

-Restart the computer

So far, none of these worked.

What else could I try? iTunes is the only application with which I have any trouble reinstalling as part of this new Windows install. Not being able to back up my phone or sync my photos is a huge issue, and this instability in the iTunes client is so frustrating it makes me consider switching to an Android phone.

Windows, Windows 10

Posting here the solution:

-I had to remove the 'iPod Photo Cache' folder that was automatically added in my Pictures folder by iTunes.

I don't know, it got stale or something, and that was what made iTunes crash each time it tried to sync, or even each time I opened the iPhone page and was setting the photo folders to sync.

Apple phone support was really helpful! They dedicated a lot of time to me and helped figure out that the root cause was a sub-folder in the Pictures folder. I then investigated alone to find it was the iPod Photo Cache that was the problem.
