I presently have an LG27UD68-W monitor cnnected to a Dell PC. I nave now bought a Mac 2 and want to use it with the LG monitor. I am having difficulty wth the connection. I tied using an Apple Thunderbolt connector but it dosnt seem to work. I believe I am doing something wrong.

So I tried to look up the tech specs for that monitor and the first thing I'd do is contact the mfr and ask about the fact that it is advertised as being compatible with Windows OS - no mention of a Mac. So can it be used with a Mac? It has 2 HDMI ports.
Sorry, but what is a "Mac 2"? Please post the exact model/year so we can determine what ports you have.
It is a MacBook Air(M2) purchased in March 2023.
