Removing Freeform from my Dock??

Does anyone know how I can get Freeform out of my dock? I don't use it and it's taking up space for other apps, like WORD. When I drag it out of the dock and wait until the work REMOVE comes up, it goes right back into the dock. When I drag it out and try to put it somewhere on my desktop, it goes right back to the dock. Is the solution so simple it has eluded me? Help!

Is Freeform running?

Click and hold click on the icon in the dock and quit it or force quit it and then remove it if it doesn't go away.

Choosing Command option and escape will also give you a list of what you might want to force quit.

1 - Restart in Safe Mode. This will perform a Disk Repair, clear cache files and only load Apple Software, extensions and fonts. The boot up will be slow and can take some time - Normal.

2 - Safe Mode will also eliminate Third Party Software, extensions and drivers from loading. It will only load the Minimum amount of Core Apple Processes to allow the the computer to function at a reduced Level of Performance

3 - Does the issue present in this mode ?

4 - Sometimes a Safe Boot followed by a Normal Boot will just put things right.

5 - Terminal Command below
