Do Not Disturb is probably activated on your iPhone accidentally and therefore the status is showing up.
Disable Do Not Disturb by SWIPING UP from the BOTTOM of your screen. This will reveal the CONTROL CENTER. Find the FOCUS button (should be highlighted in white if Do Not Disturb is ON) and Tap on it. This should turn OFF Do Not Disturb.
