Battery life

Hello!

I just bought a new macbook pro 16 inch with M1 processor and a samsung M7 smart display. If I connect the macbook via thunderbolt to the monitor, the fact that the Macbook will charge constantly will affect the battery or not?

Thank you!

No, by default macOS now has a new battery health management setting which will actually exercise the battery. It will also stop charging the battery at 80% and try to learn how you use the laptop to attempt to optimize charging to extend battery life when the charger is connected all the time.
