Unable to change payment method.
For some reason I am unable to remove the current card on my Apple ID payment info to replace it with a new on, have tried several times to no avail. Attached is a screenshot of pop up message. Can anyone help???

If you can't remove a payment method
If you have subscriptions like iCloud+, have an unpaid balance, or you use purchase sharing, you must keep at least one payment method on file.

To verify your payment information, you need to -> Sign in to your Apple ID account page and edit / update your Apple ID details -> https://appleid.apple.com

If you update your payment method or add funds to your Apple Account balance, It would take about 1 to 3 business days in order to process.
If you're still unable to update your payment method, Contact Apple Support.

fyi: Not all credit & debit cards seem to work with App Store / iTunes Store, try a different one, or preferably a credit card.
If your card is not accepted as a paymenf method, you need to contact your bank.

Hello Raicya, thanks soo much for your time, finally been able to sort it out. Had to call Apple support on 1 800-my Apple and they walked me through it. Had to cancel family sharing as you earlier suggested. I rather turned it off at setting>>>subscription, but shld have rather gone through settings >>>family sharing………

Ok, so I tried adding another card since the current one on my Apple ID got lost hence I cancelled it, but still unable to put in an additional card. Pop up message is as attached. Too frustrating.

You will have to add the new payment method first, before you can remove the old one.
cancelled the sharing too, as in I’ve turned it off in setting>>subscription>>turned off family sharing but can’t change card either
