MacBook Pro overheating after macOS Monterey 12.7.3 My Macbook Pro never overheats since I mostly work on text editors and web browsers, and today as soon as I installed macOS Monterey 12.7.3 it started overheating and drained my whole battery (which is fairly healthy) in like 15 minutes. Activity Monitor will readily identify energy-intensive apps or processes: Activity Monitor User Guide for Mac - Apple Support.
