iPhone SE randomly restarting often

My iPhone SE 2020 restarts on its own often. What could cause this and what can I do to fix the problem?

Mine does the exact same shut down after around 2 minutes of unlocking and comes straight back but goes back off again within 2 minutes of unlocking it. tried everything. Can’t reset the phone because it does stay on long enough can’t do it through iTunes because it does stay on long enough. Contacted apple today after 6-8 weeks of trying to find all the different solutions even got a new battery init. Apple recommended I take it to an Authorized apple retailer. Contacted the retailer to which he’s aware of the problem which needs a new motherboard and will be £368 for full service because the iPhone se 2nd gen is out of warranty (just over 2 years old). I only paid around £500 for the phone new. This is because of an apple update which they recommend. Now this is my 3rd or 4th iPhone that has been corrupted over the year because of apple updates. So the only way to fix it is new motherboard

Hello,

Same here: updated to 16.4 a couple of days ago (SE 2020) and since then it turns itself off after about 2 mins (max), switches on again after 30 sec., displays the logo and prompts me to enter my passcode. And its been like that now. I'm hesitating in changing the battery (apparently "significantly degraded") because it is still shown as 88% optimum!

From your experience, a new battery didn't solve the problem. I'll probably have to get a new phone, annoyingly.
