Hi may I ask

The photos that i sync to icloud but I delete in my photo gallery，the photo im icloud will delete also？cuz i thought the photos can keep in icloud but suddenly I check back the photos I sync disappear…

How do I permanently delete photos from iPhone while keeping them in iCloud? I recently bought more iCloud storage to get back more storage on my iPhone. I turned on sync this phone to make sure all my photos went to the cloud and then once that was completed I turned off sync to delete the photos off my phone. However when I turned sync back on for new photos all of the pictures I had deleted came back from iCloud. How do I permanently delete them from my phone with them still being in iCloud? Delete photos from iPhone but they aren't deleting from iCloud I have used all my storage on iCloud so I want to clear it up. So I went into my phone and deleted thousands of photos. I then went to Recently Deleted and deleted them from there. That was an hour ago. If I login to iCloud I still see all of my images. If I go to my iPhone Settings->Apple ID-> iCloud ->Photos, I can see that it is on but it says it is Not Syncing (not enough iCloud Storage). I tried turning it off and on again and it said Syncing paused so I hit Resume Syncing. It said Syncing... but then goes back to Not Syncing (not enough iCloud Storage). Do I have to go in and delete all of these images from iCloud? Is there no way to make them sync if I removed files from the iPhone? I don't want to do this because on the phone I could hide my favorites, delete the other images, and unhide my favorites making it easy to delete unwanted images. I don't see a way to do this in iCloud.

Were these Downloaded?

If they are downloaded, then they will be deleted from the device --not iCloud. If not downloaded, then they have been deleted from iCloud.

Yes. If you sync with iCloud, any changes you make on any connected device is made on all. Deleting a file on your phone, computer, or at iCloud, delete it everywhere
