Voicemail not working

My voicemail won’t pick up at all! DONT COME AT ME WITH THE ITS A CARRIER THING AS MY CARRIER CANT FIX IT EITHER SO ITS AN IPHONE THING!!! I have done all sorts of troubleshooting and the last thing it says to do is contact Apple. I can’t get any voicemail when it is set up, no one can leave a voicemail either and it is ******* me off as I have jobs I’m applying for.

If your Voice Mail works in such a way that you have to call a number in order to listen to your Voice Mails, then it is your Carrier that must fix the problem. When your iPhone rings, your calls should normally be forwarded to your Voice Mail after between 5 - 30 seconds. If they do not, it could indicate that your Voice Mail is not activated. This is (again) your Carrier which must remedy this.


If you use Visual Voicemail, i.e. where you can see your messages in a list inside PhoneVoice Mail, contact Apple Support directly.
